Parents find python wrapped around baby's foot, Two parents in Illinois woke up to a bad surprise - a python wrapped around their baby's foot. Reportedly, a neighbor kept the snake as a pet, and has been cited by police. However, it is unknown how the python escaped and ended up in the baby's crib. William Winans is now doing fine and just celebrated his first birthday. The Coles County animal shelter currently has custody of the python.
